I'M TEACHING A TAFE COURSE!
I'm running a non-accredited short course through TAFE early next year! The class is a limited number of ten students, so if you are in- or close to- the Gold Coast area and interested in Clay Sculpture for Beginners please click the link to sign up over on the TAFE QLD website.
I came across the acronym "OOAK" when I was a kid scrolling through Etsy, looking at all the dragons and mythical doll sculptures. As soon as I understood what it meant, its meaning became such an inspiration.
All of my sculptures are completely unique, standalone, exclusive pieces. I sculpt everything by hand and put a lot of love and care into the creatures I make, in order to give them life and personality.
It means a great deal to me when I get complements and encouragement from people who understand and appreciate the level of work that goes into creating handmade art. It can often be hard to appreciate due to the mass-produced world we live in, but I think that's a big reason why I love doing what I do. It's a kind of magic to share the beauty of the unique.
Tales of Middonmira
Tales of Middonmira is the website where I put all of my work for the stories and novels I'm writing.
I am unsure exactly where the stories are going, if they're going to become published novels, or graphic novels (perhaps both?) but either way I am currently content to world build and flesh out details of the characters and plot/s.
If you are interested you can have a look at the Tales of Middonmira here.
